A darkly-flavoured, sherry-matured whisky from Tormore bottled by Hunter Laing for the Old & Rare range. This was distilled in 1988 and matured for 31 years in a single oloroso sherry butt, giving it a rich character run through with spice, nuts and dark chocolate, as well as more fragrant notes of tobacco and fruit.
This amber coloured whisky matured in an Oloroso sherry butt has lashings of hazelnuts, coffee, chocolate and tobacco on the nose. Spicy and nutty on the palate with a touch of toffee leading to a long, rich, peppery finish.
