A rich and honeyed whisky from Strathmill, distilled in 1986 and aged for 33 years before bottling as part of the Old & Rare range by Hunter Laing. This brings together Strathmill's malt-and-honey character with dark fruit and spice – a long, complex and well-aged whisky.
This medium gold whisky has notes of toffee, honey, and macerated fruits on the nose. The palate has notes of sweet oak and nutmeg, with toasted barley. The finish is long and powerful with hints of cocoa and black pepper.
