Behind the name is the Orkney Islands distillery Highland Park, a distillery that uses its own peat from the nearby hills of Hobbister Moor to dry the still malted barley on site. This version, aged in Old Butts, navigates us between subtle smoky notes, white fruits and the rich, oily character characteristic of the Very Cloudy range. Like The Un-Chillfiltered Collection, the whiskies in the Very Cloudy range are bottled from small batches of two to five casks. Reduced to 40% without chill filtration or colouring, they have a rich, highly aromatic profile and a slightly cloudy appearance. For the most authentic taste experience, they can be enjoyed at room temperature or slightly chilled to enhance the oily character. The Very Cloudy range is exclusive to La Maison du Whisky.
