Kurayoshi 8 Years Pure Malt Whisky, a good introduction to Kurayoshi's line of aged whisky. It was aged for over 8 years in a carefully selected oak barrel. The colour is light gold like a dried orange and the aroma is reminiscent of fresh malted barley. Sweet toasted nuts and vanilla combine to stand out on the palate. It is finished lightly with spring water from the wilderness of Tottori.
Nose: Sweet malt, fresh grass, fruity.
Palate: Floral notes, lemon zest, vanilla cream.
Finish: Smooth, medium to long.
