Kilchoman Machir Bay & Sanaig Single Malt Scotch Whisky (2 x 200ml) Gift Set

This set includes two 20cl bottlings of some of Kilchoman's finest whisky:

Machir Bay:

Machir Bay, located half a mile from the distillery, is one of the most beautiful beaches on Islay and is the name given to their core expression, a vatting of bourbon and sherry casks.

Colour: Ripe Barley.

Nose: Lemon and citrus with a sweet smoky aroma.

Palate: Vanilla and butterscotch with an intense sweet peaty aftertaste.

Finish: Signature Kilchoman, with a long lingering finish.

Sanaig:

Sanaig, located north of the distillery is a small rocky inlet and is the name given to this predominantly sherry cask influenced expression.

Colour: Beech wood.

Nose: Soft cooked fruits with caramel and vanilla now evident.

Palate: Toffee, peat smoke and citrus with a lingering sweetness.

Finish: A lovely balance of peat smoke, fruit and sweetness.
