Glengoyne 2007 12 Years Old Hunter Laing / Old Malt Cask. Made in 2007 at Glengoyne distillery, this Highland single malt has been matured in a single refill hogshead for more than a decade, before being bottled in May 2019 by indie bottler Hunter Laing for its Old Malt Cask series.
Nose: Nutty malt with a touch of cut grass. Subtly toasty at points, and even a bit floral.
Palate: Loads of vanilla on the palate, with a few wafts of softly smoky malt.
Finish: Pear, brown sugar and ground almond.
