Rich and spicy whisky from Glenburgie, increasingly a fan-favourite Speyside distiller. This is one of the oldest whiskies we've seen from them, distilled in 1975 and bottled at an impressive 44 years old by Hunter Laing for the Old & Rare collection. A spice-forward nose is studded with dark fruitcake, leading into a surprisingly floral palate that oozes fruit and old-whisky elegance. A decadent dram.
