DESCRIPTION
An official bottling of 1973 vintage Glen Ord as part of Diageo's Rare Malts series. During the time of distillation, there were two types of maltings in operation at the distillery - a Saladin box and a drum maltings.
TASTING NOTES (by Whiskyfun.com)
Starts slightly oily, with notes of aniseed, linseed oil, fresh parsley and dill, then switches to praline and nougat. Really powerful but not overpowering. Very good. 88 points.Ā
