An official bottling of 1973 vintage Glen Ord as part of Diageo's Rare Malts series. During the time of distillation, there were two types of maltings in operation at the distillery - a Saladin box and a drum maltings.
Starts slightly oily, with notes of aniseed, linseed oil, fresh parsley and dill, then switches to praline and nougat. Really powerful but not overpowering. Very good. 88 points.
