Glen Elgin 1975 44 Year Old "Old & Rare Heritage" ABV 45.6% 70CL with Gift Box

Glen Elgin

A waxy, honeyed Glen Elgin, bottled by the team at Hunter Laing for the Old & Rare range. Distillery in 1975 and bottled at 44 years old, it's a long-aged whisky packed with old and elegant notes. However, despite the long time in cask, it still has a fresh and fruity core with a pinch of citrus zestiness.

This dark gold whisky has a nose of candlewax, marzipan, nougat, and manuka honey. The palate has notes of milk chocolate, orchard fruits, honeydew and orange zest. The finish is long, with notes of vanilla and a drying touch of oak.
