Caol Ila 40 Years old The Kinship 2019 Release. Made at Caol Ila distillery, this Islay single malt spent four decades in a refill American hogshead, before being bottled by Hunter Laing for the 2019-release of its Kinship Collection. Mellow aromas of vanilla and oak mingle with white flowers, fresh citrus and salty sea breeze. The palate offers notes of rich nuts, sherbet lemons, creamy vanilla and spicy oak,
