This robust single malt joins the heavily peated Ballechin series from Highland distillery Edradour. Matured for 13 years, this cask strength edition weighs in at a hearty 54.9%, and it's packed with plenty of rich smoke and spiced fruit.
This 13-year-old Ballechin is a rich and heavily peated single malt from the small Edradour distillery in the Highlands. Aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and oloroso sherry casks and bottled at natural cask strength, this expression offers aromas of bonfire oak, gooseberries, plums and heather honey. The smokiness takes over the palate, offering additional notes of orange zest, bitter chocolate, dried fruits and wood spice.
