The biggest attraction of this release is the fact that it is the first bottling from Foursquare to feature rum aged in Black Muscat barrels – a sweet dessert wine known for its intense aromas and fruity complexity.

The result is a unique fusion of the two blends:

– Rum that has spent 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels, followed by another 9 years in ex-Black Muscat barrels.

– A rum that has been aged for a full 14 years in a post-bourbon barrel.

Together they create Single Blended Rum, which combines heavy and light spirits sourced from a copper double retort pot still and a continuous two column still.

This rum has been fully matured, blended and bottled on-site at the legendary Foursquare Distillery in Barbados.
