DESCRIPTION
A 25-year old Bunnahabhain from independent bottler Douglas Laing as part of the Xtra Old Particular range. Distilled in November 1990, it was aged in a refill hogshead, which yielded 269 bottles in November 2015. This is spicy and smoky with notes of milk chocolate and mocha.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Big on ripe autumnal fruits in an old wooden punnet, with an earthy back drop.
PALATE
Peat evident early, softening to barley, brown sugar, spices and smoke
FINISH
Lightly oaked, warmly spiced with a milk chocolate and mocha flavour
