Macbeth’s loyal armourer imagined as a fresh, herbaceous single malt from Ardmore. Maturation in casks previously filled with heavily peated Islay whisky gives an extra layer of smokiness to this characteristically mineral make. Expect pine needles, woody herbs and a lingering note of chocolate mint.

This bottling is one of ten whiskies chosen to portray Macbeth’s Household in this collectable series inspired by the Scottish play. The artwork was created by noted illustrator and national treasure Sir Quentin Blake.

Character Notes

Pale-faced, sleeping on straw, the smoke wreathes around, cloaking the body in suspicions of evil.

This is the curse of the indentured servant, at the beck and call of the master, the spirit pulled in opposite directions.
