A bottling of Tormore single malt whisky, distilled in 1988, a year before the distillery was acquired by Allied Domecq in 1989. This 27 year old whisky has been bottled as part of the Mackillop's Choice range. It was taken from a single cask which, when it was emptied in March 2014, produced enough juice for 72 cask-strength bottles.

Nose: Lovely mellow, sweet, mature nose. Some hints of coffee and chocolate as well as raisins and ripe exotic fruits.
Palate: Full and sweet with raisins and mocha notes, with complex vanilla and fruit-cake sweetness.
Finish: Finishes full and sweet with cake sweetness and some spice.
