Sold Out
One of two old Tamnavulin's appearing in this months auction, this 'Naturally Light' whisky distilled in June 1968 and bottled in August 1986, presented in a fragile velvet box and a fantastic depiction of the 'Old Mill' on the label.
Bottled from cask numbers 2528-2531, only 1,506 bottles were produced.
A beautiful bottle that I had never seen before.
Nose: Beeswax, iodine, smoked ham, verbena.
Mouth: nervous again. Salty butter toffee, sage, burnt bread crust, roasted malt. Excellent, old style.
SGP:452 - 89 points.
