Another very under-rated old Bowmore, the 'Deluxe' bottles 1970 (both 12yo and no-age-statement versions exist) are now finally being appreciated as the best 'standard' distillery-bottled Bowmores in the last four decades. A revelation for anyone familiar only with the more recent entry-level bottlings from the 1990s and 2000s.
