A new release of the beloved peated Highlander from Ardmore, even sweeter and malty than before under the intense smokiness. Initially dominated by a huge blast of soot, tar and peat smoke, like a bonfire made of pine wood, it also has a balsamic freshness of mint, camphor and resin. Such smoky intensity finds a perfect foundation in the creamy, succulent richness and velvety body: fragrant vanilla from the ex-bourbon casks, honey, chamomile, with a hint of beeswax and juicy sweet liquorice.
